Product Description
The Nakashima Htec drivers are constructed with a state-of-the-art 2-piece pull-face design. The body is vacuum cast from high-grade titanium and then the forged face is plasma welded in place. This design avoids any energy loss at impact, creating maximum power transfer.
The Nakashima Htec driver has been measured to have an unbelievably high moment of inertia (MOI) that creates a huge sweet spot for maximum forgiveness and distance on off-center hits.
The classic pear shape of the Htec produces the perfect initial launch angle with optimal spin for unbelievably long tee shots with unmatched carry and roll distance.

What is the Htec Driver?
"The Htec is a driver designed so that a golfer can easily try different Htec head and shaft combinations, figure out which combination works best and then buy and play the actual Htec driver they tested."
Are there other clubs like this?
"There are clubs used in fitting systems that allow golfers to test shaft and golf head combinations. The big difference is that these demo clubs are not intended for actual use. Most fitting system demo clubs require two adapters, one for the club hosel and one for the shaft. Unlike other interchangeable shaft testing systems introduced previously, the Nakashima Htec enables golfers to try any head and shaft combination with ease and then play the actual club tested! This leaves no possible variation between the tested demo and the actual club made. Having the new club the golfer buys perform totally different than the demo club tested is a common complaint."
Why do the demo clubs and the purchased clubs perform differently?
"There are many variables that go into making a golf club and with each variable there are tolerances. For example, most large OEM's have a loft tolerance of plus or minus 1 degree or greater. When a golfer buys a driver marked 10 degrees, it can have a loft of anywhere from 9 to 11 degrees. Combine that with other golf club variables with tolerances and it is easy to see how two clubs with the same specifications can perform completely differently. (Lie, face angle, internal weighting, shaft flex, frequency, torque, spine alignment, balance, weight, etc.) While the concept of fitting systems is promising the fact is, fitting systems can only offer an approximation of how the club will ultimately play."

"The Htec Driver head has been designed with a completely removable hosel made from CNC milled 7075 Aircraft-Grade Aluminum. This feature allows the Nakashima Htec head to be quickly and easily assembled with any shaft."
How is the Nakashima HTEC head attached to the Hosel/Shaft?
"The removable hosel/shaft is inserted into the Nakashima HTEC head and secured with a stainless steel screw. This high-quality screw is available in 3 different weights 10, 12 and 14 grams. This allows a golfer to "fine tune" their driver to an exact swing weight."
